About me
My name is Nimra Asif, and I hold an MS in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Pakistan, where I graduated with a CGPA of 3.95/4.00. My research focused on designing high-gain antenna arrays for brain tumor detection, which strengthened my expertise in RF and electromagnetic systems.
Professionally, I worked as a Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineer at Huawei, where I contributed to wireless network deployment across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and NB-IoT technologies. My responsibilities involved system commissioning, troubleshooting, hardware integration, license management, and network optimization. I also took part in preparing low-level design (LLD) documentation and conducting acceptance tests and site surveys, which helped me develop strong technical coordination and problem-solving skills.
In parallel, I served as a Teaching Assistant at NUST, assisting faculty in delivering coursework, mentoring students, and managing academic records. This experience enhanced my communication and leadership abilities, allowing me to bridge both technical execution and knowledge transfer effectively.
I am proficient in C++, MATLAB, HFSS, and various engineering tools, and I take pride in being a critical thinker, fast learner, and proactive team contributor. I thrive in dynamic environments and am always eager to take on challenging roles in the telecom, wireless networks, or RF engineering domain.
