Ivy Education Group

Founded in 2003, Ivy Education is a collection of almost 20 kindergartens and schools, including Daystar Academy and Ivy Academy. We are located in four major cities across China, and have worked with over 15,000 students since our founding.

Our People

Our student body is diverse, coming from 64 different countries. Our teachers and staff are equally international with 32 nationalities represented. They are committed long-term to our students, with 41% of them having been at Ivy for 5 years or more. This is one of the passionate group of educators you will ever meet anywhere.

Our Core Belief

A good school achieves high academic results; a great school instills a sense of purpose in its students. Our core belief is reflected in our motto “Courage to Change and Inspire.” Our community is not satisfied with just high-performing academic accomplishments, but we firmly believe in the importance of character. Our parents have decisively bought into our belief that our students should grow up to have the courage to pursue their dreams and ambitions and make a visible difference to this world.

Our Global Reach

Ivy’s footprints and impact can be found in many parts of the world. In Ahmedabad, India, we are a supporter of the Design for Change movement. Present in over 40 countries and touching over 30 million lives so far, DFC provides a framework for children to make changes in their community, and strongly believes in the “I Can” spirit of every child. In Chicago, we were one of the speakers at the National Chinese Language Conference, where together with our sister school, Washington YuYing PCS, we shared our latest earnings in bilingual education. In China, we organized the Multiple Intelligences World Symposiums which featured speakers including Harvard’s Dr. Howard Gardner and other distinguished thinkers from Canada, Poland, Italy, and China.
