Description
The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University offers one of the world’s most dynamic and globally respected Full-Time MBA programs — and it’s built for leaders who think big, collaborate deeply, and aim to drive real impact across borders.
For international students, Kellogg represents far more than just a top-ranked MBA. It’s a launchpad into the global business world — a place where cultural diversity is celebrated, innovation is nurtured, and your international background is not just welcomed but seen as a strength.
A Truly Global Community
At Kellogg, you’ll join a vibrant, collaborative community of students from every continent, industry, and background. Diversity here isn’t a statistic — it’s a daily experience. Whether you're working on team projects, joining cultural clubs, or sharing your perspective in the classroom, you'll find your voice matters. You’ll build lifelong friendships, global networks, and connections to alumni leading across industries worldwide.
A World-Class Education with Flexibility
Kellogg offers several MBA options — including the traditional Two-Year MBA, the One-Year MBA for those with prior business education, and joint degree options — all of which lead to the same prestigious MBA. As an international student, you can tailor your experience with more than 1,000 electives, specialized pathways (such as data analytics, entrepreneurship, or global health), and global learning opportunities.
Plus, the STEM-designated MBA option means eligible international students on F-1 visas can apply for up to 3 years of work authorization in the U.S. after graduation through OPT and the STEM extension — a major advantage when launching a career in the U.S. market.
Career Outcomes That Cross Borders
Kellogg’s Career Management Center has deep ties with global companies, and international students consistently land roles in top consulting firms, tech companies, multinationals, and startups across the U.S. and worldwide. With dedicated career coaches, international student support, and visa guidance, Kellogg helps you maximize your professional opportunities, wherever you choose to go next.
A Welcoming Home in the U.S.
Located in Evanston, Illinois, just outside Chicago, Kellogg offers a safe, welcoming environment for international students to thrive — both academically and personally. The school provides extensive support for adjusting to life in the U.S., including help with housing, immigration, healthcare, and social integration. Dozens of student-led cultural and professional clubs ensure you’ll never feel alone — and always feel empowered to lead.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you’re an ambitious, globally minded professional ready to expand your impact and join a powerful international network, the Kellogg MBA is a transformative opportunity.
Applications for Fall 2026 are open. Consider applying in Round 1 or Round 2 to ensure enough time for visa processing and planning your move to the U.S.
