Description

The Chinese Trade Unions Silk Road Scholarship (CTUSRS), funded by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU), is designed for trade union officials from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Its purpose is to strengthen international labor cooperation, deepen friendship among working classes, and promote peace, social progress, and workers’ rights.

This fully funded program offers one year of Chinese language study at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU).

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of a non-Chinese country, preferably from a Belt and Road nation;
  • Be under 45 years old and in good physical and mental health;
  • Hold at least a high school diploma;
  • Have at least one year of work experience, preferably related to China;
  • Not hold any other Chinese government scholarship concurrently.

  1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (in Chinese or English)
  2. Highest diploma and academic transcripts (notarized copies if not in Chinese/English)
  3. Study plan or proposal (?500 words, Chinese or English)
  4. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (for stays over 6 months)
  5. Resume/CV (education and work experience)
  6. Valid passport copy
  7. Legal guardian documents (if under 18)

Application Procedure

  1. Prepare documents as listed above.
  2. Visit www.campuschina.org ? “Scholarship Application for Students.”
  3. Select:

  4. Upload all materials and submit online via the CSC system.
  5. Download and print your completed application form.

Visa and Registration

  • Apply for a Student Visa (X1/X2) at the nearest Chinese embassy using your admission letter, JW201 form, and medical report.
  • Upon arrival in China, complete health verification and apply for a residence permit before the deadline.
